"bootloader is not much tested" is one side of the medal, but we haven't got far with development yet, some things were implemented for testing, then linked in the firmware to be able to push it forward, so bootloader was dormant a bit, besides LVP testing

The present tentative plan in my mind for vectorscope drawing is: to draw the basic template same every time and calculating luminance and chrominance value (U and V) and writing them in frambuffer manually at respective location.

I think the easiest would be to log in a root (using sudo -i)

after that fil_reg should be available

after logging in as root you have to change into the /opt/axiom-firmware/software/scripts directory again

ok now it seems to work, but not the way it's supposed to be, ie fil_reg 15 0 is not disabling HDMI stream

IIRC there's a way to window the image by reducing the amount of lines read out by the sensor
