As an axiom observer/follower and supporter i appreciate the ml support a lot - nice to read that geggo, alex and the rest are as confident as i that the axiom might be hell of a struggle but worth any effort to set up a free cine system.. What will it be used for ?

I did some test with it and I was disapointed.

for good prototyping of mechanical parts I use a CNC

if needed I own a semi professionnal CNC and my uncle has a 500mm square professional one

in summary, why is it better than the other DLP based ones?

If me (or somebody else) wants to use it it is OK as long as we pay for the materials (steel/ALU)

in short: b9 has no FullHD beamer

moreover ,the previously deposited layer gets cold, so doesn't attach very well, retracts... and the slicer programs are buggy.

and the PLA printed parts are not very durable, they want to replace it by metal parts in the future

With small parts, the result is pretty bad and it retracts when it gets colder

I've seen a paper awhile back about removing motion blur from photos and it might be interesting to try an implement the algorithm. I was going to attempt to do it with a Wii remote + camera but never really found the time and syncing it would have been painful

what is the main architecture (CPU) of apertus? is it arm or mips?

Also, I think you could potentially calculate Z depth by comparing a blurred image and an unblurred image.

Most cameras use hardware in the optics to do stabilization right? They're not using IMUs?

with an axis record, we can stabil. a lot better

sorry, even when we track the three axis with an synced timecode

when the imu has a high resolution and is fast enough, then its a great tool

my first own test uses a 50hz rate with good results

you have to export the data, import it in a tracker, learn, stabilize etc.

i think it would be great to embedded it in the SDi feed, same as with timecode and then a plugin in after effects, fxp
