i'm looking to build a camera system that will be fully operational by a smartphone, so essentially just a box with a sensor, lens mount and then a cable that connects to a smartphone usb port and is full control is done on the smartphone. Is this possible with Axiom?

shoud be totally possible :)

but if you want preview, things might get a bit more complicated, because not the whole uncompressed 4k image stream can be transferred via usb2
