This sums up all open source endeavors.

I especially love the comment about why we're not just using a smartphone processor because that's 4k and doesn't overheat

to be fair though, doing so wouldn't be a bad idea if Hollywood would accept such a camera for production

trying to have my vng algo to work with it

(the flipping works vertically)

the only difference to the 'colors*' image is the bayer order

(and vice versa)

but the bayer order is kind off hard coded in my code

so simply flip the image vertically first, do your stuff and flip it again

imagemagick can do that in a few seconds

imagemagick doesn't care if it is raw or not

well I guess it doesn't work directly on the .raw16 ?

but I'm worried it's going to bake something, assume it's an image that'll be displayed
