yup. That was fun to do that project. First commercial product doing 100GELR4 over 40km, and we put 8bit uC inside for the lulz :)

the basic problem was to connect half of the LVDS data lines (for dual side readout) and all the necessary control lines of the sensor with the zedboard

so far everything went smoothly with the hardware, we had two minor issues with the board but they could be worked around

yes, there is a trainings pattern for the LVDS channels (which is required to adjust the delay and bit order)
