on raw recording and not being able to figure by trial and error - I assume the Olympus OM1 option is not viable either, still too much hassle?

hey BogdanXOR! at the moment the Olympus OM1 approach is not an option (unknown outcome, too few resources)

the best option for 4K/full sensor raw data at the moment is probably the HDMI/MIPI route with a raspberry pi 5 or similar

this is something which works already in our testing, although it requires very recent gateware/firmware and, at least for now, a rather hacky hardware setup
