Also, I love the idea of a tape measure knob in line with sensor plane.

firstly I am not 100% sure if the knob is supposed to be exactly at 0mm sensor distance or if the tape starts after the ring that attaches to the knob

each plugin module slot has a standard throughout of ~6Gbit/s

depending on signal quality we might be able to increase frequency a bit higher though

up to 9 Gbit/s per slot might be possible

and in terms of adoption I would like to see us as the number one choice for people who are interested in using their camera for more things than just taking it out of the bag and pressing the record button in the future, people who shoot with magiclantern but not on a canon camera anymore :)
