Present.
17:04

Fares: please go ahead
17:04
se6ast1an
RexOrMatrix[m]: do you also want to report this time?
17:05
Fares
Hi everyone
17:07
Fares
Most of the last week work was related to integrating the core with beta SoC, I implemented an efficient module to convert 64bits fifo interface to the core interface, and I updated the testing software for the new interface and tested it in the fpga
17:08
Fares
I also spent sometime learning about PLL and MMCM, and wrote a file to generated the wanted frequency and several other frequencies
17:09
Fares
and lastly I updated the report to add few test cases and some analysis to those test cases and best/worst case analysis
17:09
Fares
That's all last week, In the following week I will add more documentation and write a module for output gearing
17:10
Fares
that would be all, Thank you!
17:10
se6ast1an
great thanks, when you say integration do you already run the core on the remote hardware?

Fares
No, I am working on converting input and output to and from the core to be suited with the current SoC, I think a full implementation and testing should happen after USB3.0 is complete
17:14
se6ast1an
right, thanks
17:14
se6ast1an
Nira: your turn
17:15
Nira
hello everyone
17:15
Nira
this week I have been adding the parts I have been working on the last few weeks on the debouncing code, and solving some problems I had with it
17:15
Nira
I have also been implementing a test script for testing different kind of pulses on it, and I am still working on it
17:17
Nira
that would be all for this week
17:18
se6ast1an
many thanks
17:18
se6ast1an
Y_G: ready?
17:18
Y_G
Yup
17:19
Y_G
Hi all ,
17:19
Y_G
This week I worked on writing unit tests .
17:19
Y_G
Wrote unit tests for I2CAdapter and extended the CMV12000Module unit tests. Fixed some minor bugs in the I2CAdapter encountered while writing the tests.
17:20
Y_G
Currently working on writing tests for Daemon. Also had while writing tests I realised I could better the I2CAdapter code design. So will be working on that in this week
17:21
Y_G
Also working on creating the documentation in parallel.
17:21
Y_G
That would be it from my side
17:22
se6ast1an
thanks
17:22
se6ast1an
aSobhy: go ahead
17:22
aSobhy
Hello everyone
17:23
aSobhy
last week I was still working on link training facing problems (including environment setup) and solve it
17:23
aSobhy
have a failure trial at the beginning of the week and fixing it to work
17:23
aSobhy
hope it works tonight
17:23
aSobhy
thats all
17:25
se6ast1an
many thanks
17:25
se6ast1an
anyone else around? apurvanandan[m]?
17:25
se6ast1an
felix_: any news?
17:25
se6ast1an
RexOrMatrix[m]: want to report your location?
17:26
se6ast1an
Bertl: & BAndiT1983 quick update?
17:26
Bertl
yeah, why not
17:26
RexOrMatrix[m]
Location is a damp cave in the north of England. Eating gruel and suffering the effects of nicotine withdrawal.
17:28
RexOrMatrix[m]
When I say 'gruel' that's a bit of an exaggeration. Chip sandwiches is standard.
17:29
RexOrMatrix[m]
Some indication of TT progress would be good.
17:29
se6ast1an
thanks rex, I guess nobody understood a word, but thats the way it is :)
17:29
RexOrMatrix[m]
That's all. Thanks
17:29
BAndiT1983
sorry, was absent
17:29
BAndiT1983
can make a quick update on remote stuff and faire preparations
17:30
se6ast1an
max was unfortunately busy during last week but continued editing on the weekend, I finished creating all inserts
17:30
se6ast1an
please do BAndiT1983
17:30
BAndiT1983
started to port firmware to C++, to be able to manage menus and periphery without repeating code, it works rather well, now trying to get USB CDC to send data to daemon
17:32
BAndiT1983
also preparing some enclosure for the faire, so the PCB is not that naked, after some hiccups of the 3d printer it should work out, maybe it will be still sprayed with matte black color, as one filament is copper color another one silver, as former one started to clog up the nozzle yesterday, so switched today
17:32
se6ast1an
BAndiT1983 is talking about the AXIOM Remote: https://wiki.apertus.org/index.php/AXIOM_Remote
17:32
BAndiT1983
if time will allow, then modifications will be made and bigger enclosure printed before the faire
17:32
se6ast1an
can you share the printed enclosure pictures?
17:32
BAndiT1983
ah, sorry, was in the flow of firmware work and forgot to mark the topic

and demo the project, the AXIOM Remote, the compact enclosure aluminum parts, AXIOM Micro and the usual rest
17:33
BAndiT1983
pictures show bottom part, knobs and buttons, just a prototype for old PCB, nothing that exciting, currently the printer is getting the top cover done
17:34
se6ast1an
great, thanks
17:34
BAndiT1983
no problem, that's it from me for now
17:34
se6ast1an
great
17:34
se6ast1an
Bertl: any news from your end?
17:35
Bertl
I did improve on the MachXO2 programming side
17:35
Bertl
i.e. there are new scripts which speed up loading SRAM content dramatically
17:36
Bertl
and I also simplified the way to reprogram plugin modules without switching between PIC and RFW firmware
17:36
Bertl
I think we can still improve on the actual programming speed, but for now it seems to be reasonably fast
17:37
Bertl
other than that, as usual, I spent most of the time with mentoring, rework and testing
17:37
se6ast1an
great, thanks

quick update from me: spent most time on CAD design improvements to the Compact enclosure, you can look at the document here if you are not afraid of the load times and big hierarchy of parts already: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/9aa42c10d73de66c7f7ef0a4/w/d1382fd006d56e4c3066c63f/e/81e10d4de555d5c93d129a74

I guess thats it for todays meeting
17:39
se6ast1an
next week we will be traveling home from hannover on monday
17:39
se6ast1an
so with traffic jams and co we might miss the meeting
17:40
BAndiT1983
i would try to be available, we will travel on sunday afternoon to hamburg
17:40
se6ast1an
good, maybe you can handle to moderation for the meeting then
17:42
BAndiT1983
that's the plan if i'm not occupied then
17:42
se6ast1an
just checked my train ticket, will arrive around 19:00 in vienna
17:42
se6ast1an
so unless the wifi in the train is great (which it never is) I will miss the meeting I guess
17:43
BAndiT1983
can't say much bad about wifi, it's not the fastest, but works mostly rather well, when not in the tunnel
17:43
BAndiT1983
was working many times from train and was available on IRC, or how do you think i would try to finish the firmware for the faire? ;)
17:44
se6ast1an
we will see :)
