it's a little complicated

one thing i can say even without comparing the gerbers is that kicad doesn't like the smooth corners

hey all, finally got back to working on things. I'm wondering how to reconfigure the memory so that the hdmi output and camera capture does not overlap? i.e. change the base mapping 0x18000000 so triggering a capture won't disturb hdmi output?

to answer your question, there are address generators for both reading and writing data from/to DDR memory

they are set with gen_reg (from hdmi.func) in rmem_conf.sh

it seems normally triggering a capture the data is written to 0x18000000, from all the code in cmv_snap3 that is hard=coded?

because the sensor and the HDMI output are not necessarily synced

and the HDMI output switches to the next buffer whenever the sensor data arrived there

fil_reg 15 0x010000100? this disables the first buffer?

the easiest way to do that is to set all the HDMI buffers to a different address space than the writers

if you don't care much about the writer data

and use 0x1C000000 and 0x1E000000 for the HDMI readers

you can advance the counter and you can query it

there are several pages for the schematic (what you call 'layers')

those are the most interesting for you

yup, those are the two MachXO2

and page 6 shows the RFE (routing fabric east) which is on the other side

as well as the PIC on the other side of the mainboard

page 4 shows all the board connectors (except for the microzed connections

so the East MaxhXO2 has 2 LVSD and the West has 1 pair
