Bertl_zZ: FYI you might want to consider sata cable or special ultra-slim sata cables for remote sensor operation. It provides a symmetric shielded 100 Ohm differential connection via tmwinax and is relatively cheap and avaliable in high-density connectors (SFF-8613 exist as a doubled-up variant with 16 differential pairs in total))

Bertl_oO: yeah. still really compact for mirror optics where the image is inside the tube (so any size of the camera obstructs useful light). Also for (fast) gimbals, where size reductions yield higher stiffness and less structural weight, which reduces motor power and general system weight.
