nah, it was a consumer camera, so VHSc, i still have the camera, that is what im using for the capture

yeah a SVHS deck might solve the problem, but theyre usually quite expensive, and the TBC i did try degraded my footage a lot, and i dont want to spend more than that what i did on it, ive been looking at comb filter devices, which after the firmware update they did on that blackmagic card it seems to have fixed the timing issues so i dont get hundreds of frame dropouts

yeah, i was looking at those ADVCs years and years ago and always wanted one, they even brought out one with a TBC built in, but now theyre all incredibly expensive
