| 09:19 | EmilJ | morning
| 09:19 | EmilJ | last night I managed to build the kernel driver from the correct xilinx linux release, however, the system rejects it, so I tried to build it locally on the pynq using the headers present
| 09:21 | EmilJ | However, all the paths are just messed up, which sucks. Four hours of linking includes and copying stuff from linux-sources (which I don't even have for the correct version) around later, I gave up
| 09:26 | Bertl | well, that is why we started using our own distribution early on
| 09:32 | EmilJ | well, it's what I get for using xilinx software :D
| 10:12 | EmilJ | The Pynq .bif (partitioning of boot.bin) has bitstream between the fsbl.elf and u-boot.elf, I wonder if that is going to cause problems

| 23:26 | EmilJ | I've figured out one reason why I can't get axiom-firmware to boot. The axiom-firmware assumes that uEnv.txt is loaded *before* bootcmd gets run, but the u-boot environment in pynq flash loads uenv *in* bootcmd, so it doesn't get run after uEnv is loaded
| 23:32 | EmilJ | oh, is uEnv expected to manually run once, and to `saveenv`?
