regarding FPN compensation / RCN calibration (not sure what is the best term here), since the experiment calls for steps taken to ensure that there are no fotons hitting the sensors, I was wondering if placing an ND filter / lens adapter with ND filtering set to max (0.8, I think on mine) would help in any way or whether it won't matter that much. My intuition is that if there are fotons hitting the
