I shifted most of my time/attention to pick and place machines recently

watched it earlier .. sweeet \o/

the visionplacer 3000D has no ship date yet so we will have to wait and see

and we will continue our efforts to run the larger pnp machine at amescon with openpnp as well

i was at 33c3 but haven't done much apertus related. i distributed some of the nice axiom beta flayers i had over from last year. we should plan something for the next congress: like having an assembly where we demo a beta and answer all the questions. i have attended the last 5 congresses so i know how things work there. i can help to plan but i don't want to be there all the time. I'm mostly volunteer as a video mixer or cameram

asides from that I did some more work trying to get the eagle beta PCB designs as 3d models into FreeCAD

all the standard resistors, capacitors, etc. were in the standard parts library, so these are there already, now comes the part where the parts need to be found manually

There are two main points that are currently under work first one is the placement of buttons and wheels to control the camera

this plate should also fit into a grip so that you are able to get controls off the camera to a handle when your mounting the camera on rods

after holidays I'll start on this topic collecting the buttons and controlwheels CAD-data and then see how it fits into the concept and to make it work

I'll try https://www.plethora.com/ and also do it manually via excel and see how much time and material is necessary

coming from both ends, the high budget buerocratic german ÖR Tv - and living in a region where beside that just absolut low budget approaches exist, there seems just this way ;)

But back to the meeting: As en "Enduser" who just knows enough aboout software and electricity to "not be afraid" i've stuck emotional to the project like probably many other: pretty cool things you develop - but why dont you just finish the beta befor you start side projects
