I had a few ideas how to handle the next steps, as this only toggles the I2C pins

would be glad to hear them if you have time

i.e. basically write a simple GPIO driver for the FTDI

that would work for a linux host at least

for reading voltages and similar

another idea was to create an userspace device (fuse or similar) which acts like the i2c device driver in the kernel, thus allowing the tools and scripts to use it similar to i2c-dev

so yes, JohnK & I are working on our thing at Mavrx.co. I did pop in here briefly a couple of months ago to say hi & interrogate Bertl on something, but it was a brief visit.

my question was about your highly optimised _P/_N pin allocations that made the PCB layout geometry and 4-layer stackup work so... perfectly. which was precisely what we don't have with our 90-degree rotated sensor at the end of the 'Main' PCB, it competely ruined all your good work ;)

thankfully it still works ;), and any LVDS pair length diffrences were a non-issue with your training script :p

yes, we needed that form-factor to be able to fit enough of them into our airborn pod.
