I think I will not make it in time for the meeting :(

this week vup and me had a meeting on the current schematics of the micro r2.1

(Bertl was also part of the meeting :)

so I began to write a mipi csi reciever (see https://github.com/apertus-open-source-cinema/nmigen-gateware/tree/master/src/lib/io/mipi)

thanks to the great work of daveshaha (https://github.com/daveshah1/CSI2Rx) it was rather straight forward

this might enable us to test that without the need of new hardware

that is still in progress but overall I am quite happy with the direction it takes

also I looked a bit into raspberry pi camera modules and that it might be interesting to support these in some way with the micro r2.1

and there is documentation available

but we have to discuss that further

maybe vup and Bertl want to report more at the meeting :)

I did generate the BOM list from the latest .sch file you shared with me (https://pastebin.com/KYxY5nm2) but I am a little bit confused because it's the first time I do this… If you have a little bit of time to help me, here's some questions I have:

2- Does DSC11XX-3.2X2.5 is a DSC1102? And if yes, I have a lot of results on digikey. Which one should I buy?

Last week i read more about pic32, and correct few things about correct c++ coding style when it comes to pic32

was stuck in that, but after proper guidance i have done bit more in right direction

i have added transition framebuffer to painter, and wrote the transition offset algo in visualizer rightnow...

well painter is giving me two framebuffers rightnow.. i calculate offset and copy content to new framebuffer, then display it on screen with opengl

okay, but copying is costly on the MCU, so you should also implement a proper algorithm to copy parts of framebuffer A and B to the display

so just temprary thing

additionally started to debug USB problems and for that the code was boiled down to the minimum

script is adjusted, but now it needs some additional data, before we can continue with cross-checks by the manufacturer

most components ordered for the production run have arrived in a pile in front of osqar right now I assume

today I talked to the production guys again at tele about the stencil and learned that we need to engrave fiducials

Bertl promised me to review the stencil until today so we should be ready to order it tomorrow

samtec is expected to take around 2 weeks, no shipment information yet

I created a concept of how we could create constructive foam elements only around certain box compartments

and drastically reduce the material amount required

seb39: hey, just read your questions on the channel

also the signal integrity is quite good on those connectors so you should not have a problem with higher stacking heights either ... in general the cheapest available one is a good choice :)

and yes, for capacitors and resistors the manufacturer is up to you, you need to match the package size (typically 0402 for resistors) and the resistance/capacitance values
