yes, the height of the connector doesn't matter much, there are no 'bulky' components below the module

also the signal integrity is quite good on those connectors so you should not have a problem with higher stacking heights either ... in general the cheapest available one is a good choice :)

the DSC in our case a DSC1123CI2-150.0000, but any mems oscillator with suitable frequency and jitter values should work here (as long as it comes in the correct package :)

and yes, for capacitors and resistors the manufacturer is up to you, you need to match the package size (typically 0402 for resistors) and the resistance/capacitance values

for capacitors make sure that the voltage rating is 'good enough' so you do not end up with dramatically derated parts (10-16V X5R or X7R ceramic multilayer should be fine)
